It is with heart felt sympathy that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Mr. Willie S. Smith, Jr at age 79, of Laurel Hill, NC. He left us to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2026.  Our father's home going services will be held at Reedy Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg, NC on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1pm. Burial service will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday, February 13th from 1pm to 5pm at McPhatter Funeral Home in Laurel Hill, NC.
