Wallena E. Cannady, 78 of  Maxton, NC passed away on Saturday  August 13, 2022 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC.  A graveside service for Ms. Cannady will be held on Thursday August 18, 2022 in the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Laurinburg, NC at 12pm (In case of inclement weather services will be held at the McPhatter Funeral Services Chapel).  A viewing for Ms. Cannady will be held on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at McPhatter Funeral Home in Laurel Hill, NC from 1pm to 5pm.
