It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Verta Mae "Shug" Bailey, 78 of Laurinburg, NC who passed November 28, 2024 at Morrison Manor Hospice of Scotland County. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 1pm at McPhatter Funeral Home Chapel in Laurel Hill, NC. Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 1pm to 5pm at McPhatter Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
