With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rev. Wilbert Theron McLaurin, age 81, of Clemmons, NC, formerly of Maxton, NC. Rev. McLaurin entered into eternal rest peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. He was cherished deeply and will be remembered with great affection. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11:30am at St.George United Methodist Church in Maxton NC.Burial will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Laurinburg NC. with Full Military Honors.A viewing on Friday, December 12, 2025 at McPhatter Funeral Home 1pm to 5pm.
