Mrs. LENA M. (FOWLER) COX, 90, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at Signature Healthcare in Fort Wayne Indiana. She was born July 2, 1930 in Maxton, N.C. to the late Leslie and Ollie Mae Fowler. She retired from Medical Labs in Pleasantville, N.Y. after many years of service. Surviving are  her son, Larry J. (Vickie) Cox; sister, Christine Lafton of White Plains, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Keyonia, Jasha and Shakeia; one great-grandchild, Jayton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by her  husband, Archie James Cox; and three brothers, Leslie, Clint and Gus Fowler. A grave side service for Mrs. Cox will be held on Friday March 5, 2021 at 1pm in the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery of Laurinburg NC. Rev. Ratliff of Shiloh Baptist Church of Maxton NC is officiating.
