It's with  heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Emmanuel  "Shawn"  Smith, 55 of Laurel Hill, NC who passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC.  Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 1pm at Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Rockingham, NC. A  viewing will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 1 to 5pm at McPhatter Funeral Home.
