It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Eleanor Sellers McRae, age 70—a beloved grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished member of the Laurinburg–Washington Park community. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be at 3 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg, NC.  Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg, NC.  Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at McPhatter Funeral Home in Laurel Hill, NC, from 1 pm to 5 pm.
